Baseball Recap: Burroughs Takes a Loss

Burroughs has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.5 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Arcadia Apaches. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Bears were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Burroughs and nudges their season record down to 18-6. As for Arcadia, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-2.

While Burroughs had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
