Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Curtis Baptist). They took their match on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 66-29 win over the Holly Hill Academy Raiders. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 25 points or more this season.

Curtis Baptist's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaliyah Terry, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Terry has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Maci Butler was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten boards.

Curtis Baptist smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 16 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Despite the loss, Holly Hill Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Milly Kate Prescott posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caitlyn Crisp, who had six points.

Curtis Baptist has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Holly Hill Academy, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-13.

Curtis Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holly Hill Academy, they will head out to face off against Cross at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th.
