Preview: Coventry Patriots vs. Bolton Bulldogs
The Coventry Patriots will be playing at home against the Bolton Bulldogs at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Coventry won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were dealt a 70-41 loss at the hands of Somers.
Meanwhile, Bolton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 18th straight defeat. They suffered a rough 65-41 defeat at the hands of Granby Memorial.
Somari Brown put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 12 points along with three steals. Andrew Baranov was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Coventry's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8. As for Bolton, their defeat was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-18.
Coventry beat Bolton 56-43 when the teams last played back in January. Does Coventry have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bolton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
