The Franklin County Wildcats will face off against the South Dearborn Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Franklin County didn't have quite enough to beat Greensburg and fell 2-1. The Wildcats have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Franklin County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tiffany Billman, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Addyson Bischoff also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, South Dearborn rose to the challenge on Monday. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 18-15. The Knights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Franklin County's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for South Dearborn, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-13.

Franklin County took their victory against South Dearborn in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 25-0 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
