Softball Game Preview: Humble Wildcats vs. King Panthers

Humble hasn't had much luck against King recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Humble fell victim to Atascocita and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 17-0 to the Eagles.

Meanwhile, King has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.85 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They came up short against Summer Creek, falling 10-0. The shutout was out of character for the Panthers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

King's loss dropped their record down to 16-10-1. As for Humble, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-20.

Humble might still be hurting after the 9-0 loss they got from King in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
