Volleyball Recap: Grace Davis Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Grace Davis had won three straight at home, but on Friday they bumped their record up to 5-9 to make it four. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Central Valley Hawks. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Hawks back in March, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

As for Central Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season. Their defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row.

Despite the loss, Central Valley still got an impressive performance from David Luna, who had six digs and four aces.

Grace Davis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Lathrop on the 14th. As for Central Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Pacheco on the 14th.
