Baseball Game Preview: Central Bucks South Titans vs. Pennridge Rams

For the second straight game, Central Bucks South will face off against Pennridge. The Titans will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Rams at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Central Bucks South has three straight victories, Pennridge has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Central Bucks South is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Pennridge a 12-0 shutout on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Titans with their most commanding win of the season.

Central Bucks South got a great performance from Luke Hillegass as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over 4.2 innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Hillegass has posted since back in March of 2024.

On the hitting side, Jake Yang was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.
