Baseball Recap: Leland Takes a Loss

Leland was the 14-12 winner over Simmons when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Cubs fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. The Cubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leland's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Simmons, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-5.

Coming up, Leland will head out to take on North Side at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Simmons, they will square off against West Bolivar at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
