Softball Recap: Carrollton Trojans vs. Columbus Blue Devils
If Carrollton was riding high off their 16-2 takedown of Newnan on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Carrollton Trojans fell just short of the Columbus Blue Devils by a score of 5-3 on Saturday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Carrollton is on the road again on Monday to play Paulding County at 5:30 p.m. As for Columbus, they will host Woodward Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbus is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.
