Aitkin waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Roosevelt Teddies 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Gobblers, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Aitkin's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Roosevelt, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Aitkin will take on Rush City at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The Gobblers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Roosevelt, their road trip will continue as they head out to face North Lakes Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
