Basketball Recap: Browne Triumphs

Browne's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They escaped with a win against the Rancho Solano Prep Mustangs by the margin of a single free throw, 58-57. For the Bruins, this counts as revenge for the 56-42 win the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2017.

Karmello Walker was a one-man wrecking crew as he dropped a double-double with 29 points and 11 boards. The contest was his third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Joseph Evans, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 13 points and four steals.

Browne now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Rancho Solano Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Browne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 86-73 loss against Mountain Ridge on the 25th. As for Rancho Solano Prep, they will take on Dobson in a tournament on Wednesday.
