Volleyball Recap: Bureau Valley Comes Up Short

Bureau Valley lost against Erie-Prophetstown back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Storm took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Erie-Prophetstown scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20.

Bureau Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Erie-Prophetstown, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Bureau Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Mercer County on the 28th. As for Erie-Prophetstown, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Kewanee on the 2nd.
