Ipswich gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Highmore/Harrold Pirates. The Tigers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 12, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-6, 25-21.

Looking ahead, Ipswich will be playing in front of their home fans against Groton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highmore/Harrold, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sunshine Bible Academy at 7:15 p.m. on September 9.
