West Wilkes won against North Wilkes last Friday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. West Wilkes blew past the Elkin Buckin' Elks 12-1. The match marked the Blackhawks' most dominant win of the season so far.

West Wilkes' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Elkin, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
