Softball Recap: Thunder Basin Has No Trouble Against Cody

Thunder Basin was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Cody Broncs. Considering the Bolts have won nine contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Thunder Basin and bumps their season record up to 11-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Cody, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Thunder Basin will take on Jackson Hole at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Cody, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Campbell County at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Broncs will need to watch out since the Camels have now posted at least ten runs in their last six games.
