Soccer Game Preview: Tabb vs. Granby

The Tabb Tigers will head out to square off against the Granby Comets at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Tabb will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Smithfield, who they had gone 0-7-2 against in their nine prior meetings. The Tigers never let the Packers get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Tuesday. Tabb wouldn't have won without Katelyn Robertson, who scored the game-winner.

Granby played against Norcom on Wednesday and won via forfeit.

The victory (which was Granby's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Tabb, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0-1.
