Basketball Recap: King's Academy Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

King's Academy lost against Christian Academy of Knoxville on January 13th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The King's Academy Lions took a 64-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Christian Academy of Knoxville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caden Owens led the charge by putting up 21 points. Owens' evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Teeno Hutchinson, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards.

King's Academy's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-12. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-2.

King's Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they will face off against Providence Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Christian Academy of Knoxville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.6 points per game this season.
