Rancho San Juan came tearing into Monday's game with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Everett Alvarez Eagles by a score of 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-2 win back in April.

Rancho San Juan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-19.

Stephen DeAnda paced Rancho San Juan's offense, picking up 19 kills. DeAnda got some help from Brandon Quiambao and his 45 assists. DeAnda was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Rancho San Juan's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-14. As for Everett Alvarez, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-15.
