Pleasant Grove won the last time they faced Wenonah and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pleasant Grove Spartans blew past the Wenonah Dragons 21-3. Considering the Spartans have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Zion Barney was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. Jordan Walker was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-3.

Pleasant Grove was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .714. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win got Pleasant Grove back to even at 6-6. As for Wenonah, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pleasant Grove will square off against McAdory at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Pleasant Grove's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while McAdory has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. As for Wenonah, they will challenge Parker at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
