Football Recap: Palisade Bulldogs vs. Rifle Bears
Palisade got themselves on the board against Rifle on Friday, but Rifle never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 48-0 win over the Rifle Bears at home. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won three games by 32 points or more so far this season.
Easton Embrey was a one-man wrecking crew for Palisade as he rushed for 155 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. The dominant performance gave Embrey a new career-high in rushing yards.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Palisade was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 355 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rifle only rushed for 55.
