The Seminole Warhawks were beaten by the Timber Creek Wolves 63-31 on Tuesday. The game marked the Warhawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Seminole lost, don't look at Riley Turknett. Despite the final result, she went 6-for-14 on her way to 13 points and six rebounds. Turknett has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Emily Fekollari also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Timber Creek got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hannah Caneus out in front who posted 15 points. Those 15 points gave Caneus a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emry Warren, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Seminole fell to 4-1. As for Timber Creek, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Seminole will look to defend their home court on Monday against Osceola at 7:45 p.m. The Warhawks will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Timber Creek, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 49-34 victory against Heritage on the 28th.
