Basketball Recap: Portageville Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Doniphan, Portageville was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Twin Rivers Royals by a score of 51-40. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Royals, too.

Portageville's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Twin Rivers, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Portageville will venture away from home to take on Caruthersville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Twin Rivers, they will welcome Naylor at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Twin Rivers is facing Naylor at the right time seeing as Naylor is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
