Spaulding and Nashua North are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Red Raiders are taking a road trip to square off against the Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Things were looking good for Spaulding after they put the first run on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Bedford by a score of 5-4. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Spaulding saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Hall, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Another was Trevor Cormier, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Nashua North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Merrimack.

Spaulding's record now sits at 8-13-1. As for Nashua North, their record is now 6-17.

Spaulding came out on top in a nail-biter against Nashua North in their previous matchup back in May of 2022, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Raiders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
