Marshall posted their closest win since September 20th on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Bravo Knights 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (107-105) Marshall actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-21, 15-13.

Marshall pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bravo, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marshall will face off against rival Franklin at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bravo is set to challenge their familiar foe Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
