Manual gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 66-27 victory over the Hinkley Thunder. The Thunderbolts not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 10th (when they won 84-29).

Hinkley's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Qwamarius Lake, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Mading Miakol, who earned seven points.

Hinkley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manual will welcome Montbello at 2:30 p.m. on the 13th. As for Hinkley, they will square off against Aurora Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
