Soccer Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Lincoln Mustangs came up short against the Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit Lions and fell 4-2. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly two goals.

Henry Hernandez and Eliseo Lopez scored both of Lincoln's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

This is the second loss in a row for Lincoln and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Lincoln will venture away from home to take on Galileo at 3:30 p.m. on December 17th. As for Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against MacDonald on the 10th.
