Soccer Recap: Cuyahoga Falls Comes Up Short

Cuyahoga Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Louisville Leopards. Cuyahoga Falls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Louisville apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Cuyahoga Falls was without their leading scorer, Muhammad Omonov, in Thursday's contest. With Omonov sitting this one out, Stefan Talmachev got some extra time on the pitch (80 vs. his season average of 42).

Cuyahoga Falls' loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Louisville, the victory got them back to even at 7-7-2.

Looking ahead, Cuyahoga Falls will take on Archbishop Hoban at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Louisville, they will square off against Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
