Basketball Recap: York Find Success

After losing to Lake Region the last time they met, York decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The York Wildcats rang in the new year with a 52-41 win over the Lake Region Lakers on Tuesday.

York now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lake Region, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. York will face off against Kennebunk at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lake Region, they will square off against Cape Elizabeth at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Region is facing Cape Elizabeth at the right time seeing as Cape Elizabeth is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
