Soccer Recap: Immanuel Find Success

Immanuel kept a clean sheet against Morro Bay on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Pirates 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Immanuel were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Cole Torres, who's now up to six this season.

Immanuel's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Morro Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Immanuel will be home for the holidays to greet Yosemite at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Immanuel will be up against Yosemite's rather soft defense (which has allowed six goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Morro Bay, they will host Templeton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Templeton will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Morro Bay surely won't give up without a fight.
