Football Recap: Wiggins Tigers vs. Meeker Cowboys
Wiggins's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 27-12 victory over the Meeker Cowboys. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Jayson Lousberg had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 228 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
Wiggins was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 339 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Meeker only rushed for 196.

The victory got Wiggins back to even at 1-1. As for Meeker, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Wiggins will challenge Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Meeker, they will take on Gunnison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
