Soccer Game Preview: John Bartram vs. Northeast

The John Bartram Braves will venture away from home to take on the Northeast Vikings at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. John Bartram has given up an average of 3.2 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

John Bartram is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering George Washington just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 5-2.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Wednesday Northeast sidestepped Samuel Fels for a 3-2 win. Northeast haven't had any issues with Samuel Fels recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

John Bartram's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Northeast, their record now sits at 6-0.

John Bartram suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Northeast when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Braves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
