Softball Recap: North East Takes a Loss

North East fell victim to Northwestern and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 6-0. The Grape Pickers have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

North East's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Northwestern, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North East will challenge rival Girard at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Northwestern is set to square off against their familiar foe Conneaut Area at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
