Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bloom-Carroll). They took down the Westerville North Warriors 60-43 on Monday. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 52-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors cut but never quite recovered from.

Emma Sorrell was nothing short of spectacular: she dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 boards. Those 18 points gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Davynn Miller, who posted eight points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Bloom-Carroll smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive games.

Bloom-Carroll's record is now 7-9. As for Westerville North, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloom-Carroll has already played their next match (against Logan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Westerville North and Westerville South will meet in a classic North v. South matchup at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westerville South will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Westerville North surely won't give up without a fight.
