Softball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 26-0 to the University Christian Christians. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Generals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for University Christian, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside will face off against Christ's Church Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Generals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. As for University Christian, they will square off against West Nassau at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
