Volleyball Recap: Concordia Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Bishop Neumann

Concordia faced Bishop Neumann in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Cavaliers. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cavaliers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Concordia may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 18 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18.

Grace Samuelson paced Concordia's offense, picking up seven kills. Samuelson got some help from Natalie Perkinson and her 12 assists.

Concordia has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 26-8 record this season. As for Bishop Neumann, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Concordia nor Bishop Neumann have any future games scheduled.
