Softball Recap: S & S Consolidated's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to 16

S & S Consolidated won against Bells last Friday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Everything went the Rams' way against the Blue Ridge Tigers as they made off with a 12-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won 12 games by nine runs or more so far this season.

The win keeps S & S Consolidated at an undefeated 16-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 11.8 runs this season. As for Blue Ridge, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, S & S Consolidated will challenge Gunter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rams 0.8, the Tigers 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
