The Crimson Cliffs Mustangs will face off against the Green Canyon Wolves at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Crimson Cliffs heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to Payson. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Crimson Cliffs' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Colsen Neal, who had 14 digs, and Nathan Dana, who had 18 assists and five digs. Neal has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last six times he's played.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Green Canyon's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They came up short against Orem, falling 3-0.

Crimson Cliffs' defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Green Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 21-10.

However, it's not like Green Canyon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
