Soccer Game Preview: Fort Bend Bush vs. Ridge Point

Fort Bend Bush is 2-7 against Ridge Point since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Fort Bend Bush Broncos will head out to square off against the Ridge Point Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Ridge Point took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Fort Bend Bush, who comes in off a win.

Fort Bend Bush took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They beat Fort Bend Hightower by a goal, winning 3-2.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Ridge Point challenged Fort Bend Travis on Tuesday. Ridge Point fell just short of Fort Bend Travis by a score of 1-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Panthers came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while the Tigers are ranked 393rd).

Fort Bend Bush's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Ridge Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.

Fort Bend Bush might still be hurting after the 6-1 loss they got from Ridge Point in their previous matchup back in January. Can Fort Bend Bush avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
