Basketball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were beaten by the St. John's/Tipton Catholic Blujays 62-32 on Monday. The matchup marked the Leopards' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Edward Horinek was his usual excellent self, going 7 of 13 on his way to 18 points and three steals for St. John's/Tipton Catholic. The contest was Horinek's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel Roderick, who made all 5 shots he took to post 12 points.

Lincoln's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2. As for St. John's/Tipton Catholic, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.

Lincoln has already played their next game (against Lakeside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. John's/Tipton Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 79-70 defeat against Bennington on the 28th.
