Soccer Recap: Spooner Comes Up Short

Spooner lost to Altoona back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rails came up short against the Railroaders, falling 3-0.

Spooner's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Altoona, their win bumped their record up to 6-4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spooner will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Somerset at 5:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Altoona, they will be playing at home against Amery at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Altoona are facing Amery at the right time seeing as Amery are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
