Lehi entered their tilt with Layton Christian Academy on Wednesday with six consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with seven. Everything went their way against the Layton Christian Academy Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 win. While the Pioneers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lehi was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-9, 25-12.

Ashton Shewell paced Lehi's offense, picking up eight kills. Shewell got some help from Ty Reynolds and his 29 assists. Reynolds was also solid from the service line: he led the team with 11 aces.

Lehi pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Lehi will face off against Provo at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Layton Christian Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Taylorsville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
