Moundridge put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Sedgwick Cardinals. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

Moundridge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 12-25, 25-22, 25-12.

Despite the loss, Sedgwick saw an underclassman step up: freshman Briella Steventon had 14 digs and two assists. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Steventon.

Moundridge's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Sedgwick, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-3.

Sedgwick has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Inman on the 9th. Hopefully Moundridge paid attention to the Cardinals' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Cardinals on Saturday.
