Littlestown came tearing into Wednesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Bermudian Springs Eagles. Considering the Thunderbolts have won six contests by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Alexis Stonesifer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring four runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Isabella Olvera, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Sarah Loveless, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Littlestown's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Bermudian Springs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
