Softball Recap: Lunenburg Central Triumphs

Lunenburg Central proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Brunswick Bulldogs 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chargers have posted since May 20, 2025.

Lunenburg Central's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Brunswick, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lunenburg Central will venture away from home to challenge Amelia County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chargers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Brunswick, they will head out on the road to square off against Windsor at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
