Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverheads). They walked away with a 69-56 victory over the Waynesboro Little Giants on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-42 back in January.

Riverheads' win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Waynesboro, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverheads will face off against Wilson Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Waynesboro, they will take on Staunton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Waynesboro is facing Staunton at the right time seeing as Staunton is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
