Basketball Game Preview: Marsh Valley Eagles vs. Bonners Ferry Badgers

Having just played yesterday, the Marsh Valley Eagles will jump right back in to play the Bonners Ferry Badgers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Marsh Valley sitting on five straight wins and Bonners Ferry on three.

Marsh Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They secured a 58-52 W over Cole Valley Christian.

Meanwhile, Bonners Ferry didn't have too much trouble with Kimberly on Thursday as they won 81-62. Given the Badgers' advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Bulldogs are ranked 73rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Marsh Valley's record is now 14-11. As for Bonners Ferry, their record is now 22-1.

Marsh Valley came up short against Bonners Ferry when the teams last played back in March of 2024, falling 64-57. Can Marsh Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
