Softball Recap: Sneads Pirates vs. Malone Tigers
Sneads's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Malone Tigers as the Sneads Pirates made off with a 25-6 win. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Naryah Dudley made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit. Dudley was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Those runs marked the first that she scored this season.
In other batting news, Sneads got a massive performance out of JaVayah Johnson, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. Johnson also got three hits, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Danika Rogers, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.

Sneads always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .628. The last time their OBP was this high was back in February of 2024.
