The biggest upset of the week belonged to Marietta, who took down 171st ranked Kingston, 28-21.
Lexington moved up to 148 from 184 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 2A District 4. The Bulldogs climbed the ranks as a result of topping Coalgate 21-6.
Alec Hetherington put up the best numbers through the air as Davis defeated Homedale. He finished with a total of three completions for 102 yards and two touchdowns. Hetherington's favorite target this week was Blake Summers, who caught two passes for 53 yards.
Josh Kirkwood was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 43 carries, he ran for 294 yards as Konawa topped Tishomingo. Teammate Dalton Stoup added to the ground attack by rushing for 31 yards.
Dye was the best wideout in the league this week as the Tigers bested the Indians. Dye racked up three receptions for 56 yards. Hiawatha Honsinger helped Konawa's passing attack out by catching one ball for 22 yards.
Konawa's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Chance Yellowfish has thrown for 406 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Honsinger has five catches for 196 yards. Kirkwood leads the league in rushing with 1037 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Wolves take on the Redskins. Davis is in first place, while Kingston is in fourth place.
Jody Weber's team extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Trojans, 57-6. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Wolves.
