Recap: Weeki Wachee Hornets vs. Anclote Sharks
Even though the Anclote Sharks scored an imposing 74 points on Friday, the Weeki Wachee Hornets still came out on top. Weeki Wachee secured a 79-74 W over Anclote. Weeki Wachee didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.
It was another big night for Isaac Priester, who dropped a double-double on 40 points and 10 rebounds. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jean Garcia, who scored 15 points along with 4 steals.
Despite the loss, Anclote still got an impressive performance from Linden James, who scored 40 points. Kevin Cote was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Weeki Wachee's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Anclote, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-3.
Weeki Wachee will head out on the road to face off against Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Anclote, they will be playing at home against Clearwater Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
