Volleyball Game Preview: Briggs Bruins vs. St. Francis DeSales Stallions

Briggs hasn't had much luck against St. Francis DeSales recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Bruins will host the Stallions at 6:00 p.m. Briggs will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Briggs beat Independence 3-1.

Briggs had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-12.

Meanwhile, St. Francis DeSales made easy work of Bard Early College on Saturday and carried off a 3-0 win.

St. Francis DeSales is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season. As for Briggs, they pushed their record up to 10-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
